Who we are

WZ Solutions, Lda. ("WZ Solutions", "we", "us") is a software engineering company registered in Mozambique, with offices at Av. Julius Nyerere, 1234, Maputo. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and to run the website:

• Information you submit through our forms: name, email address, phone number, company, role and the content of your message.
• Job application details you provide, including any links to portfolios or professional profiles.
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Basic technical data from your browser — IP address, user agent, pages requested — recorded in server logs for security and reliability.
• Your theme preference, stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.

Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries, demo requests and quote requests — our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To assess job applications — steps taken at your request before entering an employment contract.
• To send the newsletter — on the basis of your consent, withdrawable at any time.
• To keep the site secure and available — our legitimate interest in protecting our infrastructure.

The AI assistant

The assistant on this site sends the messages you type to a third-party AI provider in order to generate a reply. Do not enter confidential information, credentials or personal data about others into it.

Conversations are not linked to your identity by us and are not used to train any model.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:

• Our hosting and database providers, for storing form submissions.
• Our email provider, for delivering replies and newsletters.
• The AI provider powering the site assistant, for generating replies.
• Any authority where disclosure is required by law.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry and demo or quote requests: up to 24 months from the last contact.
• Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them on file for longer.
• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: up to 90 days.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on it, and request a copy in a portable format. Write to walter.mussagy@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you are entitled to complain to the competent supervisory authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to submission data is limited to staff who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication and logged. We apply the same security practices to our own systems that we build into our clients'.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use local browser storage only to remember your theme preference. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated first and consent will be requested where the law requires it.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
